Job summary

James Brindley School in Birmingham is seeking a Midday Supervisor to supervise lunchtime queues, guide students from dining hall to the playground, and maintain a calm, safe environment.

You will work with secondary-age pupils, require emotional resilience, and support positive behaviour. The post is subject to enhanced DBS clearance and English language requirements to ensure safeguarding and communication standards.

We are looking for a Midday Supervisor who will assist with organising dinner queues and entrance of Young People into dining hall and from dining hall to the playground, ensuring good behaviour and calm atmosphere. The purpose of the role is to effectively supervise Young People in the dining hall and in the outside areas during lunchtime, ensuring their wellbeing and health and safety. You should have experience of working with young people of secondary age within a school environment. You should have emotional resilience in working with challenging behaviors.
