St Giles’ Catholic Primary School, part of St Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Multi-Academy Trust, invites applications for a Lunchtime Supervisor to help create a safe, welcoming lunchtime environment where pupils can enjoy their breaks.

The role focuses on supervising dining hall and playground, encouraging good manners, and supporting pupils' social development while ensuring well-being during lunch.

We are seeking a Lunchtime Supervisor who is friendly, reliable, and committed to helping children feel safe and happy during their lunch breaks. This role is vital to supporting pupils' social development and maintaining a positive, respectful atmosphere throughout the lunchtime period.

6.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only

Key Responsibilities

Supervise children during lunch in the dining hall and playground

Encourage good manners, healthy eating, and positive behaviour

Ensure children are safe, engaged, and included in play activities

Assist with basic first aid and resolving minor issues or disagreements

Help maintain cleanliness and tidiness in lunch areas
