Job summary

Edith Moorhouse Primary School in Carterton is seeking a part-time Lunchtime Supervisor to join our midday team. You will help manage dining hall routines, supervise pupils during lunch, and assist with safe outdoor play on our trim trail.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise lunchtime activities and ensure safety and welfare in the dining hall and playground.
  • Support pupils with tray handling and maintain a clean eating area.
  • Monitor outdoor play at the trim trail and respond to incidents per school policy.
  • Report incidents clearly to the supervisory team and follow procedures.

Job description

  • Location: Edith Moorhouse Primary School, Carterton[cite: 1, 2]

  • Contract Type: Permanent, Term Time Only

  • Hours: 5 hours per week (12:00pm - 1:00pm, Monday to Friday)

  • Actual Salary: £2,809.53 (Grade 3)

  • Closing Date: Tuesday 3rd September - 10 a.m.

  • Interview Date: date to be confirmed

  • Start Date: 1st September 2026 or as soon as possible after this date
