Job summary

Teach Now is seeking a caring and reliable Midday Supervisor for a specialist secondary school in Hertfordshire. You will supervise lunchtimes, support pupils with diverse needs, and help with routines and transitions to keep the environment calm and welcoming.

The ideal candidate is calm, patient, and able to build positive relationships. You will work collaboratively with staff, have safeguarding responsibilities, and start immediately on a part-time, long-term temporary basis.

Midday Supervisor - Specialist Secondary School

Location: Hertfordshire

Salary: £16-£16.30 per hour

Contract: Part-time, long-term temporary

Hours: 11:30am-1:30pm, Monday to Friday

Start date: Immediate

Teach Now is recruiting a caring and reliable Midday Supervisor for a specialist secondary school supporting pupils with a range of additional needs.

As a Midday Supervisor, you will help create a safe, calm and positive lunchtime environment. You will support pupils with their routines, eating, social interaction and transitions while encouraging confidence and independence.

The role

• Supervise pupils during lunchtime and in communal areas.
• Support pupils with autism, learning difficulties and communication needs.

Previous experience in a school, SEND, care or support setting is desirable but not essential. This position could suit an experienced Midday Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, SEN TA or Support Worker, as well as someone looking to develop their SEND experience.
