Job summary

TLTP Education is seeking a compassionate Midday Supervisor / SEN TA for a primary school in Havering. You will provide 1:1 lunchtime support to pupils, including those with ASD and complex needs, and help manage social interactions and behaviours during lunchtime.

The role requires patience, reliability and the ability to work well with a wider school team. Immediate start and long-term opportunity are offered, with consistent 11:30-13:30 hours.

Qualifications

• Experience providing 1:1 lunchtime support in a primary or SEN setting.
• Ability to support children with ASD, complex needs or communication difficulties.
• Patient, calm and approachable with pupils and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 lunchtime support for pupils.
• Support pupils with ASD, complex needs, and communication delays.
• Help pupils with social interactions, emotional regulation and behaviour.
• Encourage independence and positive relationships with peers.
• Supervise the dining hall and playground; ensure safety and engagement.
• Collaborate with teachers and the SEN team; follow school procedures.
