Job summary

Beechcroft St Paul's CofE Primary School in Weymouth is seeking a Midday Supervisory Assistant to oversee pupils at lunchtimes, promoting safety, wellbeing and positive behaviour during breaks.

The role is permanent, term-time only, with hours 12:00 to 13:45, Monday to Friday (8 hours 45 minutes per week). Training provided; no formal qualifications are required; experience with children is an advantage. Duties include meals support, basic cleaning and incident response.

Qualifications

• No formal qualifications required; training provided.
• Experience with children or school settings is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils during the midday break ensuring safety and good conduct.
• Assist in the dining hall and outdoors as needed, and help with meals.
• Clear tables, wipe surfaces and handle spillages.
• Carry out minor first aid and report incidents appropriately.
• Support safeguarding procedures and work with staff as a team.
