Job summary

Spring Grove Junior Infant and Nursery School in Huddersfield is seeking a Play Leader to actively involve children in engaged play at lunchtimes. The role is a fixed-term position from September 2026 to 16 July 2027, with a potential extension, based in the school’s lunchtime team.

You will plan play activities, organise games for diverse age groups and encourage pupil participation, while relating well to children from varied backgrounds and modelling high standards of behaviour.

Job description

We are looking to recruit a Play Leader who will actively involve children in engaged play at lunchtimes.

Hours of work will be;

Monday - Friday 11:50am - 12:50pm, Wednesday - 11:50pm - 13:15pm

To commence in September 2026 on a fixed term basis to 16th July 2027, but with the potential to extend.
