Job summary

Gunness and Burringham Church of England Primary School in North Lincolnshire is seeking a Lunchtime Supervisor to support children during the mid-day meal and play times. The role is 5 hours per week, 1 hour per day, term time only (12pm – 1pm), with duties including supervising lunch, organising play activities, and monitoring health and safety.

You should be well organised, have good communication, and enjoy working with children as part of a friendly team.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children preferred.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.

The Vacancy 5 hours per week (1 hour per day, term time only, 12pm - 1pm) The successful candidate should have a flexible approach and will be confident in delivering a high level of support to our children over the lunchtime period. Applicants should be well organised, have a good communication skills and able to work as part of a team of lunchtime supervisors. The role and duties will include:

  • Supporting children with their mid-day meal,
  • Organising and delivering play activities on the playground,
  • Caring for the children's health and well-being,
  • Supervising a class when it is a wet playtime.
  • Possess a natural affinity with children,
  • Be positive in their approach and have a calm and caring nature,
  • Have a basic understanding of food hygiene,
  • Have a basic understanding of first aid,
