Job summary

The Enquire Learning Trust's Oakdene Primary Academy in Billingham is seeking a Lunchtime Supervisor to support daily lunchtime play and ensure safe, social and stimulating activities for all children. You will join a team that creates a pleasant eating experience and encourages outdoor play during lunch breaks.

The role is term-time, 5 hours per week, with start date November 2026. The ideal candidate is caring, has experience with children, and is willing to undertake First Aid training.

Qualifications

• Kind, caring, nurturing and approachable.
• Ideally has experience of working with children.
• Can facilitate play opportunities.
• Can offer care, support, and advice for children during lunchtime.
• Has, or is willing to complete, First Aid training.

Responsibilities

• Support lunch times and ensure meaningful lunchtime play every day.
• Work as part of the Lunchtime Supervisory Team to create a safe outdoor environment.
• Provide social, active and creative play experiences for all children.
