Oasis Community Learning is seeking a lunchtime supervisor to oversee children during the school lunchtime period at our Manchester academy. The role focuses on care, wellbeing, safety and structured play, with duties including supporting welfare and adhering to safeguarding protocols.

The ideal candidate will meet the attached person specification, be able to pass an enhanced DBS check and pre-employment checks, and work term-time hours.

Contract Type: Permanent, Term Time OnlyWorking Hours: Part Time, Monday to Friday 11.30am - 1pmNumber of positions: 1Start Date: As soon as possibleSalary: £25878 pro rata (Actual Salary £4,511 per annum)We are looking for an individual who is committed to the care, wellbeing and supervision of our children and who will support and encourage play and welfare during the lunchtime period.About the Candidate:The successful candidate must meet the requirements of the attached person specification and as we are an academy be committed to safeguarding our children. The position will be subject to an enhanced DBS check. We are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, younger learners and vulnerable adults and we expect all staff and volunteers to share the same commitment. The above post will be subject to enhanced DBS checks, satisfactory references and will be exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. DBS Code of Practice which can be viewed here. This post is also subject to satisfactory references, proof of right to work in the UK in accordance with the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996 and other pre-employment checks where applicable.
