Job summary

The North Halifax Grammar School is seeking a Midday Supervisor to help supervise pupils at lunch, from 12:00 to 1:00, Monday to Friday, during term time. The role is casual, up to 5 hours per week, with a £15.00 per hour rate.

You will ensure student health, safety and wellbeing during the lunch period and report any significant incidents to the appropriate safeguarding leads. You will work as part of a team and adhere to school policies.

Qualifications

To supervise the conduct of students during the lunch period.
To deal with incidents which may arise and report any significant events to the relevant person (Year Group Leader, Designated Safeguarding Lead etc.).
To ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of all students during this period.

To contribute to the overall ethos and aims of the Academy.
To attend meetings and training exercises as directed by your Line Manager.
To work as part of a team and support the role of other people within the team.
To act as a role model and being aware of and responding appropriately to individual needs.
To be aware of and comply with policies relating to child protection, health and safety, confidentiality and data protection, reporting all concerns to a nominated person.
