Chailey Heritage Foundation in Lewes is seeking a Lunchtime Education Assistant to support pupils with complex physical disabilities and health needs during lunch periods, including mealtimes, personal care and social activities.
The role requires compassion, reliability and teamwork. Prior SEN experience helps, but a willingness to learn and grow within our Education team is essential for success.
With your help, pupils will feel safe, valued and supported throughout this important part of their school day.
Previous experience in an SEN setting or working with children and young people is an advantage, but not essential.
Join our Education team at Chailey Heritage Foundation as a (Lunchtime) Education Assistant, where every day brings an opportunity to make a difference. Your role will have a particular focus on supporting children and young people with complex physical disabilities and health needs over the lunchtime period - including mealtimes, personal care, social activities and supporting pupils to take part in whatever is happening during your working hours.
Some of this training may extend beyond your contracted hours - particularly when you first join us - but you'll be paid for every required training hour you attend.
