Job summary

Cherry Garden Primary School is seeking a caring Lunchbreak Supervisor to help create a safe, sociable lunchtime experience for pupils. You’ll set up the dining hall, support children during meals, and lead play and activities in the playground (or indoors on rainy days).

You’ll work 1.5 hours per day during a 38-week, term-time year, with a permanent contract and a supportive school community that values CPD and staff wellbeing.

Job description

Job title: Lunchbreak Supervisor

Salary: £13.28 p/h

Working hours: 6.25 per week

Working weeks: 38 weeks per year (term time only)

Contract type: Permanent

Our Lunchbreak Supervisors play a vital role in creating a safe, happy and well‑organised lunchtime experience for our pupils. Each role involves working 1.5 hours per day during the lunch period.

You’ll work closely with staff and pupils to create a safe, sociable and fun environment. Whether it’s setting up the dining hall, supporting children during meals, or leading play and activities in the playground (or indoors on rainy days). Your presence will bring stability, encouragement and fun to our lunchtime routine.
