Job summary

Fosse Way School is seeking a dedicated school assistant to support our diverse age range of pupils (3–19). The role is part-time, term-time only with 5 inset days, totaling 10 hours per week. You will assist with personal care, learning activities and behaviour plans, fostering confidence and independence in students.

Responsibilities

• Attend to the pupils’ personal needs and implement related personal programmes (social, health, physical, hygiene, first aid).
• Use specialist skills to support pupils in curricular and learning activities.
• Assist with the development and implementation of Individual Education/Behaviour Plans and Personal Care Programmes.
• Monitor and evaluate pupils’ responses to learning activities and record progress against objectives.
• Encourage pupils to interact and work cooperatively with others and engage all pupils in activities.
