Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council is seeking a Lunch Time Domestic Assistant for Brynamlwg Complex Health Day Service. The role involves serving meals at lunch, maintaining hygiene, and supporting a clean, safe environment for service users. Basic hygiene training is helpful, otherwise training will be provided.

The post is permanent with flexible to occasional broader hours. There is a strong focus on staff wellbeing, with benefits and pension contributions highlighted.

10 hours per week, currently Monday – Friday. Maybe required to work across 7 days a week between 7.30am and 7.30pm (there may be a requirement to occasionally work outside the core hours)

We are currently looking for a Lunch Time Domestic Assistant to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for

Serving of meals to service users and staff at lunch times and to carry out related domestic duties. To assist in the maintenance of a high standard of hygiene within the Day Service. To support the team in the provision of a clean, safe and comfortable environment for service users. To provide relief cover for additional domestic duties as required.

Basic training in Food Hygiene will be an advantage. Otherwise the post holder will be expected to undertake training provided by the Department.
