Job summary

Neath Port Talbot Council is seeking two School Cleaners to join Team NPT at Central Primary School (Juniors). The role supports a clean and safe learning environment with 10 hours per week during term time, Monday to Friday 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

This temporary contract covers absence until 31/12/2026 or until the post holder returns. Induction and training are provided; the team benefits from Local Government Pension Scheme, a living wage/competitive pay, and a term-time working contract with

Hours: 10 hours per week - 41 weeks per year - Term Time Working

Monday to Friday 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm

We are currently looking for two School Cleaners to join Team NPT.

You’ll join our excellent cleaning team that was shortlisted for the Best Service Team category at the prestigious APSE Awards. The team is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the school to ensure pupils are able to learn in a clean and safe environment.

Some experience is necessary for the role, but all successful candidates will undergo a full induction and training programme.
