Job summary

Kiddi Caru Sowton Day Nursery in Exeter is seeking a caring Nursery Assistant for lunch cover, 20 hours per week, 11am–3pm, Monday to Friday. You will support and supervise children, help with activities, and contribute to a welcoming environment under the guidance of Level 3 qualified practitioners.

Qualifications

• Experience in nursery or childcare settings is preferred.
• Ability to supervise and support young children with guidance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support children at all times.
• Prepare and supervise activities under guidance of Level 3 qualified practitioners.
• Maintain a welcoming environment for children and families.
• Read and implement company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a positive attitude with children, parents and colleagues.
• Attend regular staff meetings and undertake required training.
