Job summary

Kiddi Caru Sowton Day Nursery in Exeter is seeking a caring Nursery Assistant for lunch cover, 20 hours per week, 11am–3pm, Monday to Friday. You will support and supervise children, help with activities, and contribute to a welcoming environment under the guidance of Level 3 qualified practitioners.

Our Kiddi Caru Sowton Day Nursery in Exeter is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant (Lunch Cover) to join our team. You will play a key role in caring for, supporting and inspiring our children, encouraging curiosity and helping them thrive every day.

Hours of work: 11am–3pm daily – 20 hours per week

Our lovely nursery can be found in the Exeter Business Park, conveniently located off Junction 30 of the M5.

What Will You Be Doing?

• Supervise and support children at all times
• Prepare and supervise activities under the guidance of Level 3 qualified practitioners
• Contribute to maintaining an attractive and welcoming environment for the children
• Read, understand and implement all company policies, procedures and operational practices
• Maintain a positive attitude at all times with children, parents, visitors and colleagues
• Attend regular staff meetings, planning meetings and undertake training as required
