Job summary

Kiddi Caru Day Nursery, part of Grandir UK, in Exeter, is recruiting a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Apprentice. You will support and inspire young children, helping them explore and learn in a safe, supervised setting while you work toward your Early Years qualification.

Training salary is £8.00–£8.40 per hour, with a strong benefits package and clear progression opportunities within a supportive team at our Exeter nursery.

Our lovely nursery can be found in the Exeter Business Park, conveniently located off Junction 30 of the M5.

What You Will Be Doing

Ensure that the children’s individual needs are identified and met

Supervise and support the children at all times

Carry out a wide range of interactive tasks including reading stories, helping at mealtimes, playing games, and changing nappies

Act as a positive, practical role model for the children

Develop friendly, professional relationships with staff members and parents

Ensure you fully understand and follow Safeguarding Procedures

Work towards gaining your Early Years qualification in a supportive and professional environment with hands-on experience
