Job summary

Dovetail & Slate Ltd. is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to help learners with SEND access the curriculum and progress alongside teaching staff.

You will provide in-class and one-to-one support, adapting resources to meet individual needs and helping learners build independence, confidence and skills for the future. This role fosters an inclusive learning environment and collaboration with colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting learners with special educational needs and disabilities.
• A patient, encouraging approach and strong communication skills.
• An enhanced DBS, or willingness to obtain one.
• A relevant learning support or teaching assistant qualification (desirable).
• Experience of working within a further education setting (desirable).

Are you passionate about supporting learners with additional needs to achieve and grow in confidence?

About the Role

You'll join the learning support team at an education provider, working alongside teaching staff to help learners with special educational needs and disabilities access the curriculum and make progress.

You'll provide in-class and one-to-one support, adapting your approach to each learner's needs and helping them build independence, confidence and skills for the future.

Your responsibilities will include:

What We're Looking For

Essential:
