Job summary

Shorefields in Pebmarsh is seeking a caring Learning Support Assistant to join a small village school and support a mixed KS2 class. You will deliver daily interventions to individuals and small groups, helping pupils access the curriculum and make progress.

The role involves assisting pupils with various learning needs, including medical needs, and requires collaboration with the class teacher and staff. Training will be provided.

Job description

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our friendly small school in the village of Pebmarsh.

This class‑based role involves supporting a mixed KS2 class and delivering daily interventions to help children progress. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and wider staff to support pupils in the classroom and with targeted intervention work.

The post includes supporting pupils with a range of learning needs, including medical needs such as diabetes. Full training will be provided.

Working Hours
  • Monday and Tuesday
  • 8:40 am to 3:30 pm
  • Includes a 55‑minute lunch break
  • Additional hours may be available
