Dovetail & Slate Ltd is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant to work with learners in a South East provider, offering care and tailored support to help individuals engage and grow. The role emphasises one-to-one and small-group support within an inclusive learning environment.

You will work with teaching staff to reinforce learning, deliver interventions and monitor progress, adapting resources to remove barriers and support learner independence.

Formación

• Experience of supporting learners in an educational setting.
• Patient, encouraging approach and the ability to build positive relationships.
• Ability to adapt your support to a range of needs and learning styles.
• Committed to helping every learner succeed.
• Desirable: qualification in learning support or related field.
• Desirable: experience of supporting learners with additional needs.

About the Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll work alongside teaching staff to provide the individual attention that helps each learner engage, make progress and grow in confidence. Working with a training provider in the South East, you'll play a key role in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

You'll deliver one-to-one and small-group support, adapting your approach to suit different needs and learning styles. Your patience and encouragement will help learners build the skills and independence they need to succeed.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting learners individually and in small groups both in and out of the classroom.
• Working alongside teaching staff to reinforce learning and deliver interventions.
• Encouraging learners to build confidence, motivation and independence.
• Adapting resources and support to remove barriers to learning.
• Monitoring and feeding back on learner progress to teaching colleagues.
