Job summary

Outwood Academy Normanby is seeking a dedicated individual to lead its Learning Resource Centre, ensuring it is a vibrant and accessible space for students, staff and community programmes.

The role oversees daily operations, supports literacy development, and fosters research skills in a 37-hour week (Mon-Fri, 8am-4pm), term-time plus five days. Salary is Grade 6, SCP 12-14 (£24,872 - £25,692). Start date: as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Manage the effective running of the Learning Resource Centre (LRC) to be an attractive, accessible resource for students, staff and community programmes.
• Promote literacy standards, support research skills and foster a lifelong love of reading among students.
• Support the academy by ensuring the LRC operates efficiently during term time plus five extra days.
