Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a Librarian and Administrative Support Officer in Tottenham to manage the Learning Resources Centre and support reading initiatives across key stages.

The role covers LRC operations, literacy promotion, and providing student and curriculum support with flexible hours including after-hours study support.

Qualifications

  • Degree (or equivalent) plus GCSE English and Mathematics.
  • Minimum 3 years in an inner-city school or educational setting, with proven experience in library management and reading schemes.
  • Solid knowledge of library management systems, the National Curriculum (especially English), and strong organisational capabilities.
  • Willingness to support flexible hours, including out-of-academy community links and after-hours study support.

Librarian and Administrative Support Officer


Salary: £14.50 - £15.00 per hour


Contract: 12-Month Fixed-Term (Starting September 2026)


Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 40 weeks per year (Term time + 2 weeks)


Location: Tottenham, London


About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Librarian and Administrative Support Officer to manage our Learning Resources Centre (LRC). In this dynamic role, you will foster a stimulating, organised, and inclusive learning environment, driving a culture of reading for pleasure and academic success across all key stages.
