Job summary

Outwood Academy Redcar is seeking an LRC Coordinator to manage the Learning Resource Centre with a focus on promoting reading and research skills. The role is 14 hours per week across two days, term time only plus 2 additional days, starting October 2026.

The successful candidate will drive literacy standards, support students and staff, and help transform the LRC into a vibrant, intellectual hub within the academy.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing an LRC or educational resource centre.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day running of the Learning Resource Centre (LRC).
• Ensure the LRC is an attractive, accessible resource for students, staff and community programmes.
