GTS Group Ltd. is seeking a hands-on Low-Level Embedded Software Engineer to own on-device software for EV charging hardware, from hardware interfaces to secure remote monitoring in the field.

You will design and deploy software that runs directly on EV charging devices, collaborating with the wider team to ensure clean integration and robust remote diagnostics. The role emphasizes contributing across the full software pipeline in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems.
• Experience with Embedded Linux platforms (Yocto/Buildroot).
• Familiarity with RS485, Modbus and CAN protocols in industrial environments.
• Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and adapt to changing requirements.
• Interest in full software pipeline from design to deployment.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy on-device software for embedded Linux devices.
• Work with hardware interfaces and industrial protocols (RS485, Modbus, CAN).
• Design secure diagnostics interfaces, telemetry, and remote control features.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure clean integration.
• Promote good software practices: version control, testing, CI, and documentation.
