Job summary

Connex Education Partnership is recruiting an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a Dudley school on a full-time, long-term basis. You will support pupils with a range of SEN needs, including autism and ADHD, providing 1:1 and small-group assistance.

We value patient, caring individuals who are comfortable with personal care and daily routines. A TA qualification is desirable but not essential; you will have access to ongoing training and supportive guidance from a dedicated

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEN in a classroom setting.
• Comfortable providing personal care.
• Patient, caring and resilient approach.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• Genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
• TA qualification is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEN including autism, ADHD, learning difficulties and communication needs.
• Provide 1:1 and small-group support in the classroom.
• Assist with personal care, including toileting and changing where required.
• Support pupils with emotional regulation, behaviour and daily routines.
• Work closely with teachers and other support staff.
• Help create a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment.
