Job summary

Principal Education is seeking a passionate Maths Teacher to join a Harris Federation secondary school in North West London from January 2027 on a long-term, full-time basis through to the end of the academic year. You will deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4, prepare students for GCSE, and support SEND learners while maintaining high behaviour standards and a positive classroom environment.

Qualifications

QTS or equivalent qualification required.
Experience teaching Mathematics at secondary level.
Ability to teach KS3/KS4 and prepare students for GCSE examinations.
Strong classroom management and differentiation skills.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Teach Mathematics in line with curriculum and examination requirements.
Prepare students effectively for GCSE examinations.
Develop students' mathematical reasoning, problem-solving and analytical skills.
Differentiate lessons to meet varying abilities.
Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback.
Support students with SEND and diverse learning needs.
Collaborate with the Maths department and wider teaching team.
Maintain high expectations of behaviour and attainment.
