Job summary

The Harris Federation school in North West London is seeking a Maths Teacher to join from January 2027 on a long-term basis through to the end of the academic year. Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent required.
• Experience teaching Mathematics at secondary level.
• Ability to differentiate for KS3/KS4 and GCSE preparation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Teach Maths in line with the curriculum and exam requirements.
• Prepare students for GCSE examinations.
• Develop reasoning, problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Differentiate lessons for varied abilities.
• Maintain an inclusive and well-managed classroom.
• Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Support students with SEND and varied learning needs.
• Collaborate with Maths department and wider teaching team.
• Uphold high expectations of behaviour and achievement.
