Job Description:

TransPerfect Gaming Solutions is seeking gamers and testers with native English language skills and professional Chinese skills to support testing of various video games, from indie titles to AAA productions. The role involves providing linguistic quality assurance (LQA) and testing for game content.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Native-level proficiency in English and professional proficiency in Chinese.
• Passion for gaming, testing, and technology.
• Experience in LQA or linguistic testing, especially for shooting games.
• Owns an Android device.
• Experience playing games in both English and Chinese.
• Familiarity with gaming terminologies and language nuances in both languages.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and interpersonal.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Positive attitude and adaptability in a fast-paced, innovative setting.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Implement test plans and test cases, suggesting improvements where applicable.
• Identify, document, and verify fixes for linguistic issues.
• Utilize test tools and automation as needed.
• Apply knowledge of target market preferences to influence product quality.
• Collaborate with partner teams in testing activities.
• Identify gaps in test coverage proactively.
• Configure and set up gaming hardware and software on PCs, consoles, or mobile devices.
• Provide feedback on gameplay, fun factor, and game balance based on target market insights.

Bonus Experience:

• Security testing or fuzzing tools experience.
• Performance or stress testing methodologies.
• Accessibility testing experience.
• Certification testing or lot checks.
• Experience with testing tools like Fiddler, Netmon, etc.
• Experience with bug tracking systems such as ADO, JIRA, Bugzilla.
• Experience in game testing, design, or engineering roles.
