Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for Current Account Switching Services (CASS).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing on CASS-related applications.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools and ensure their resolution.
  • Validate data migration and payment redirection processes to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Conduct end-to-end testing of the switching process, including Direct Debits, standing orders, and payment redirection.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide detailed test reports and metrics to stakeholders.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.

Qualifications

  • ISTQB certification or equivalent
  • BS/MS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Software Tester, preferably in the financial services sector.
  • Strong understanding of Current Account Switching Services (CASS) and related regulations.
  • Proficiency in test management tools (., JIRA, TestRail).
  • Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
  • Experience with API testing and data validation.
  • Knowledge of banking systems and payment processing
