Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for Current Account Switching Services (CASS).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing on CASS-related applications.
- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools and ensure their resolution.
- Validate data migration and payment redirection processes to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Conduct end-to-end testing of the switching process, including Direct Debits, standing orders, and payment redirection.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide detailed test reports and metrics to stakeholders.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
Qualifications
- ISTQB certification or equivalent
- BS/MS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
Essential skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Software Tester, preferably in the financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of Current Account Switching Services (CASS) and related regulations.
- Proficiency in test management tools (., JIRA, TestRail).
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Experience with API testing and data validation.
- Knowledge of banking systems and payment processing
