Job summary

Educato Limited is helping Whitefield primary school recruit an Early Years Teacher for a long-term, full-time position starting ASAP. The role focuses on delivering engaging EYFS lessons, assessing progress and creating an inclusive, nurturing classroom where children develop independence.

The ideal candidate holds QTS or is an ECT, with UK EYFS experience and strong classroom management. The post offers continuity and ongoing professional support in a welcoming setting.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS or is an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
• Experience in a UK primary or Early Years setting (placements accepted for ECTs).
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development.
• Confident in classroom and behaviour management.
• Available full-time and eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver EYFS lessons and activities aligned with EYFS.
• Assess and track children’s progress; adapt teaching as needed.
• Create safe, inclusive, stimulating learning environments.
• Support social, emotional, communication and physical development.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Support children with additional needs with SENCO collaboration.
• Promote positive behaviour and uphold Teachers’ Standards.
