Job summary

Educato Limited in Whitefield is seeking a dedicated Early Years teacher to plan and deliver creative EYFS lessons in line with the EYFS framework. You will foster an inclusive, stimulating classroom and monitor progress across the cohort.

You will hold QTS or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT), with experience in a UK primary or EYFS setting. The role focuses on safeguarding, development, and partnership with parents, in a supportive school environment.

Job description

You will take responsibility for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging Early Years lessons and activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. You will create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment where children feel supported, confident and encouraged to develop their independence.,

• Plan and deliver creative, engaging EYFS lessons and activities that meet the needs of all learners.
• Assess, monitor, and track children's progress, adapting teaching where required.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
• Support children's social, emotional, communication and physical development.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Support children with additional needs, working closely with the SENCO and support staff.
• Promote positive behaviour and encourage children to develop confidence and independence.
• Fulfil all professional responsibilities in line with the Teachers' Standards.
• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
• Has experience teaching in a UK primary or Early Years setting (placements accepted for ECTs).
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and early childhood development.
• Confident classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Passionate, nurturing and committed to supporting children's development.
• Has the right to work in the UK and is available full-time.

Desirable (but not essential)

• Previous experience teaching in EYFS
• Experience supporting children with SEN
• Strong understanding of play-based learning
• Experience working within a long-term Early Years teaching role
