The Role

As an English Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and challenging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Inspire a love of language and literature in students of all abilities
• Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with the national curriculum
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Monitor and support student progress to ensure excellent outcomes
• Work collaboratively with a dedicated English department and wider school team

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching English within a UK secondary school setting
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English Language and Literature
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Commitment to raising achievement and supporting student success
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
