TeacherActive Ltd is assisting a mainstream primary school in Southport to appoint a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant. The role involves providing consistent 1:1 support for a child with Autism Spectrum Condition in KS1, helping with learning, emotional regulation and social development.

The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO, contribute to an inclusive learning environment, and have access to CPD opportunities and professional support through TeacherActive.

Formación

• Experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) or SEND.
• Experience working with children in Key Stage 1 (KS1) within a mainstream primary school.
• Strategies to support communication, emotional regulation and positive behaviour.

Responsabilidades

• Provide 1:1 support to a child with ASC in KS1 to develop confidence and independence.
• Assist with classroom activities and learning engagement.
• Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to support learning and behaviour.
