Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a full-time, long-term role at a mainstream primary school in Chesterfield. You will provide 1:1 support for a pupil in Year 3 who has Autism/ASD, helping them access learning and follow routines in a nurturing classroom.

The ideal candidate will have Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualifications, experience with SEN/SEND and Autism, and possess patience, adaptability and strong communication to build relationships with pupils, staff and

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification desirable
• Experience working with children with SEN / SEND
• Experience supporting children with Autism / ASD
• Confidence providing 1:1 support within a primary school setting
• A patient and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Responsibilities
