Job summary

Qualifications

• Essential: City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years' experience in building services maintenance with progression in technical complexity.
• Proven experience with building management systems and smart building technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with landlord teams, property management, or multi-stakeholder environments.
• Safe Working Practices – Permit to Work, risk assessments, and coordinating on-site contractors.

Responsibilities

• Operate and optimise smart building technologies including BMS, IoT sensors, and analytics for maintenance and operations.
• Collaborate with other shift technicians to ensure consistent task execution and knowledge sharing.
• Liaise with landlord technical teams and stakeholders to minimise disruption and align objectives.
• Execute planned preventative maintenance using data-driven scheduling and monitoring via CMMS and building systems.
• Maintain documentation, compliance certificates, and sharing of performance data with stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance during shifts and contribute to performance reports using building data.
