VirtueTech Recruitment Group in London is seeking an experienced Shift Engineer to maintain mechanical building services onsite. You will lead planned and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, and coordinate contractors while safeguarding safety and reliability on a high-profile site.

The role requires a recognised mechanical qualification and strong HVAC knowledge, with extensive hands-on experience in a facilities management environment.

Qualificações

• Recognised mechanical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ or apprenticeship) required.
• Experience as Shift/Mechanical/Building Services Engineer in commercial or facilities management.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, pumps, motors and pipework.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical building services.
• Diagnose faults during shifts and implement fixes to minimise downtime.
• Monitor plant performance and identify reliability improvements.
• Carry out inspections to ensure assets are safe and operational.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors for maintenance activities.
• Maintain service records and shift handovers.
• Assist with small works and site improvement projects.
