The Horse & Guardsman in Whitehall is seeking a General Manager to lead a high-traffic, food-led pub in central London. You will drive guest experience, profitability and trading opportunities while managing a dynamic team in a prestigious area near Trafalgar Square.

Ideal candidates will have proven leadership in busy hospitality venues, with experience in tourist, corporate and event-led trade, and a passion for delivering exceptional standards both front-of-house and behind the scenes.

Qualifications

• Experience running a high-volume, food-led pub or hospitality business.
• Ability to lead a busy London site and maximise trading opportunities.
• Experience with tourist, corporate, and event-led trade is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth and profit, exceeding budget.
• Build a full management team with succession plan.
• Maintain team turnover at or below company target.
• Ensure flawless FOH and BOH standards per policies.
