Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking an Onsite Desktop Support Engineer to join our London team, delivering first-line incident resolution for desktop software and hardware with prompt customer service. The role involves deploying workstations, assisting end-users, and ensuring security policy compliance in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to relate to non-technical people and work as part of a team.
• Experience supporting Office 365/M365 and Windows/Mac clients in an enterprise setting.
• Familiar with the ITIL framework.
• Several years’ experience deploying software via endpoint management software (Intune).
• Experience with security tools, conditional access, MFA, SSO in Microsoft Entra/Azure.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and on-time deployment of workstations to employees
• Assist end-users with technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity
• Ensure security policy compliance across various security platforms
• Maintain a system for tracking and prioritising support requests through ServiceNow
• Ensure that all support requests are logged, monitored, and resolved within SLAs
• Provide after-hours support and assistance as necessary
• Create and update technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and user guides
• Test new hardware, software, and tools to improve end-user support and system efficiency
