Overview of IT Strategy & Transformation:
The IT Strategy & Transformation Specialist will report to the IT Strategy & Transformation Associate Director / Sr. Manager and be part of L.E.K.'s Global IT Strategy team.
You will play an important support role in executing IT transformation initiatives and ensuring that strategic objectives are operationalized effectively. This role supports Project Portfolio Management Office (PPMO), Strategic Value Office (SVO), change management & transformation, and strategic execution functions, requiring strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to create clear, professional documentation and presentations. You will be responsible for supporting the execution of strategic IT initiatives, managing project workstreams, and helping operationalize the IT strategy across the organization. This role is ideal for a proactive professional looking to develop deeper expertise in IT strategy, business transformation, and organizational change management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Case Development Support: Gather and organize financial and operational data to support business case development; assist in creating supporting analysis, research, and documentation for IT initiatives; support the validation of assumptions and cost estimates in business case preparation; maintain templates and documentation standards for business case consistency.
- AI Initiatives & Project Support: Assist in supporting AI upskilling and awareness initiatives within the IT organization; support the documentation and communication of AI project transformation workstreams; gather feedback and insights from IT teams regarding AI capabilities and adoption barriers; maintain resources and training materials to support AI project execution.
- Operating Metrics & Analytics Support: Assist in collecting and organizing team capacity and utilization data; support the development and maintenance of IT operating metrics dashboards; gather and analyze data to support prioritization decisions and resource allocation; create reports and visualizations to communicate operational insights.
- Executive Communication Support: Assist in preparing materials, research, and data analysis for strategic presentations; support the creation of professional slide decks, reports, and documentation for senior leadership; gather and organize information to support compelling stakeholder communications; ensure consistency and quality of presentation materials and written deliverables.
- Team Collaboration & Support: Support high-quality, timely output delivery from the IT Strategy team through task coordination; assist in facilitating collaboration across the Global IT team; document and communicate project updates and team deliverables to stakeholders; support administrative and organizational functions of the IT Strategy team.
- Other Responsibilities: Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Associate Director and management to support organizational goals; contribute to the continuous improvement of the IT strategy team processes and deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 2-5 years of professional experience in strategy, business analysis, project management, or change management.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to create clear, well-organized documents and presentations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Demonstrated experience with business analysis, research, and data gathering.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to organise and manage multiple workstreams and tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality orientation.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience in IT strategy, PMO, or project management support roles.
- Experience in change management or organisational transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Experience with data analysis tools or business intelligence platforms.
- Experience in a consulting environment or corporate strategy office.
- Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (ITIL, ITSM).
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM) or change management certification.
- Prior experience supporting C-level executives or strategic initiatives.
- Prior consulting experience, strategy or implementation consulting, highly preferred.
