Job Title: London Market Insurance BA/Lead

Location: London (Hybrid)

Required Qualifications:

• Detailed understanding of the workings of London Insurance Market, both Lloyd’s and Companies supporting multiple Lines of Business (Commercial/Specialty lines).
• Understanding of Lloyd’s Messaging systems (USM, SCM, MCM, ECF, LORS).
• Experience working with senior business and IT stakeholders to embed architecture strategies and roadmaps that support business models and outcomes.
• Proven ability to make complex design decisions with authority, even in times of ambiguity, balancing strategy, immediate needs, and potential long-term risks.
• Experience across Business, Application, Data, and Technology architecture domains in a complex environment.
• Strong architecture methods and modeling skills, including business capability, application, technology, and data models.
• Experience with modern architecture practices such as APIs, microservices, data foundations, and advanced analytics.
• Deep understanding of the London Insurance Market and Lloyd’s Messaging systems.

Key Duties:

• Lead development and implementation of solution design and standards across programs, supporting business strategy.
• Engage with senior stakeholders to ensure architecture aligns with business outcomes and is clearly communicated.
• Collaborate with group and regional architects to ensure program alignment with strategy.
• Implement models and blueprints to maintain traceability between strategy, technology landscapes, and solution designs.
• Ensure architecture vision, strategy, and standards are upheld.
• Address cross-cutting issues by defining and agreeing on solutions across the group.
• Introduce new practices, processes, and technologies through appropriate governance.
• Build and maintain high-level architecture landscapes for all products and applications.
• Stay updated on technology trends and advise on potential benefits and impacts.
