Job Title: London Market Insurance BA/Lead

Location: London (Hybrid)

Required Qualifications:

  • Detailed understanding of the workings of London Insurance Market, both Lloyd’s and Companies supporting multiple Lines of Business. (Commercial/Specialty lines)
  • Understanding of Lloyd’s Messaging systems (USM, SCM, MCM, ECF, LORS)
  • Experience working with senior business and IT stakeholders to embed architecture strategies and roadmaps that support business models and outcomes.
  • A track record of making complex design decisions with authority, even in times of ambiguity, balancing advancing strategy, immediate business needs and potential long-term risks and implications
  • Experience working in across breadth of architecture covering Business, Application, Data, Technology architecture domains across a complex domain
  • Track record of using strong architecture method and modelling skills covering business capability, application, technology and data models to embed architecture across business and IT
  • Experience of modern architecture applying APIs, micro services, data foundation, advanced analytics
  • Detailed understanding of the workings of London Insurance Market, both Lloyd’s and Companies supporting multiple Lines of Business.
  • Understanding of Lloyd’s Messaging systems (USM, SCM, MCM, ECF, LORS)

Key Duties (include):

  • Lead the development / implementation of solution design and standards across programme, supporting the business in developing strategies for functions
  • Engage with senior business / IT stakeholders to ensure that the architecture supports business outcomes and can be easily communicated / understood.
  • Work with all Group, business, function and Group Architects to ensure alignment of programmes with regional Strategy.
  • Implement process and consistent models / blueprints to maintain traceability between strategy, programme portfolio, current and target technology landscapes and solution designs.
  • Work with architects to ensure the architecture vision, strategy and standards.
  • Work across the Group to define and agree solutions to cross cutting issues.
  • Introduce new practices, processes, operating models, techniques, products, services, technologies and standards where needed against identified use cases, via the appropriate governance bodies
  • Build and maintain target functional and technical landscapes that describes high level architecture across all products/applications
  • Stay abreast of technology trends and advise Technology and the business about potential benefits/impacts
