Job summary

Artificial is seeking an IT Manager in London to own day-to-day IT operations, ensuring security and reliability as the company scales. The role combines hands-on device management, network administration and end-user support, reporting to the CIO.

You'll balance productivity with security, implement practical controls, and run the IT helpdesk to deliver fast, helpful assistance across the business.

Qualifications

• Experience managing IT operations in a growing company.
• Hands-on with device management and endpoint tooling.
• Comfortable with identity and access operations, including provisioning and access reviews.
• Experience managing software, licensing and the sprawl that builds up over time.
• Experience managing corporate network infrastructure and equipment.
• Experience running a helpdesk or support function and keeping users happy.
• A security-minded, practical approach to everyday IT.

Responsibilities

• Own endpoint security in practice, including device configuration, patching, controlling local admin rights, and reducing unmanaged software
• Look after workplace and network security, including the office network and keeping guest and corporate access properly separated
• Run identity operations day to day, including provisioning, joiner, mover and leaver changes, and regular access reviews
• Manage software and licensing across the company, and bring order to tools that have crept in without oversight
• Manage 3rd party vendors such as internet suppliers
• Look after the office network, devices and everyday hardware
• Run the IT helpdesk and make sure people get quick, helpful support
• Make joining and leaving the company a smooth, well-run experience
