Job summary

Encord is hiring Human Data Program Managers in London to run high-stakes human data projects end to end for frontier AI labs. You will translate ML requirements into annotation workflows, standards and instructions for a specialist workforce, then own delivery timelines and quality.

You will be the deepest expert on your project's annotation standards, train annotators, resolve edge cases, and manage multiple projects across time zones, ensuring measurable delivery milestones and strong

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of professional experience in operational delivery with analytical work.
• End-to-end ownership of complex workflows with outcomes.
• Experience translating technical specs into actionable instructions.
• Experience managing / coaching a distributed workforce.
• Knowledge of annotation, evaluation or model-training workflows is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of projects end to end: throughput, quality and timeline.
• Translate ML requirements into clear annotation workflows and processes.
• Become the deepest expert on your project’s annotation standards.
• Maintain quality through process refinement and structured feedback.
• Train annotators and scale the workforce; mentor and improve performance.
• Coach teams with context and develop skills as work becomes harder.
• Measure annotator performance and decide who continues or retrains.
• Allocate tasks to meet throughput and quality targets jointly.
• Set up launch-time metrics with the Quality Systems Lead for measurability.
• Produce delivery reporting for customers and surface risk early.
• Partner with Product and Engineering on process/tooling improvements.
