Job summary

Mistral AI is hiring a Technical Program Manager to drive human data annotation operations for our Code team. You will work closely with researchers to define data strategies and translate research needs into scalable annotation campaigns.

In this role you will spearhead end-to-end programs, coordinate with engineering, product and annotation teams, and ensure quality and timely delivery in a fast-paced environment. A strong Python background and proven PM experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience blending software engineering and technical program management.
• Strong technical foundation in Python.
• Excellent project management skills with multiple simultaneous projects.
• Great communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Autonomous, proactive, with a continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Partner with code research teams to develop data strategies and translate research needs into annotation campaigns.
• Lead end-to-end data annotation efforts from scoping to delivery, balancing data needs, budget and timelines.
• Manage a data quality assurance team and implement scalable QC processes with automated checks.
• Build strong relationships with annotation vendors and contractors across sourcing, onboarding and performance monitoring.
