Job summary

CoStar Group is hiring a London-based Analyst to support international forecasting and maintain STR's position as a leading provider of hotel performance data worldwide.

The role requires data-driven thinking, strong research skills, and experience with MS Office, Power BI, and data visualization. You will collaborate with global teams, transform data into actionable narratives, and help deliver quarterly forecasts for markets outside North America.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of the hotel industry; experience in hospitality is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Familiarity with Power BI and SSMS preferred.
• Customer-focused with excellent relationship-building and client-facing skills.
• Analytical with ability to visualize data and present insights.

Responsibilities

• Support forecasting outside North America under the direction of the Forecast Director.
• Develop forecasting methodology capturing region-specific trends.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners; conduct market research.
• Build insights from data and create compelling hotel performance narratives.
• Communicate trends and assumptions effectively to clients and colleagues.
• Promote STR data visualization for conferences, meetings, and client engagements.
• Maintain data quality and adhere to confidentiality standards.
