Job summary

Downing is seeking a Business Development Operations Associate in London to support the Strategic Partnership Sales Team, helping to increase panel positions and optimise business activity. You will work with a busy sales group in a development environment, contributing to meetings and coordinating administrative tasks.

The role requires excellent customer service, organisation, and strong communication with advisers, clients, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Degree level or equivalent education.
• Experience in business operations or sales support is preferred.
• CRM experience and good command of Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Inbound and admin support for sales, handling literature requests and first contact queries.
• CRM system administration and data hygiene maintenance; diary management for the sales team.
• Create/monitor reports for fundraising activities and event planning/delivery.
• Generate call lists/leads from events or desk research; track pipeline and progress.
• Coordinate group mailings around events and support roadshows campaigns.
