Job summary

Otis is seeking a Field Manager for London to lead field operations on one or more site projects. You will oversee the field engineering team, coordinate with project and construction managers, and ensure adherence to safety, ethics and financial controls while delivering projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Strong experience as an Escalator Engineer, Field Manager or Construction manager.
• Experience in the Lift Industry or Construction industry.
• Experience managing teams of engineers.
• Good planning, problem solving and communication skills.
• Understanding the importance of delivering excellent customer service.
• Flexible to work day or night shifts as workload requires.

Responsibilities

• Managing the field engineering team and people on site ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
• Collaborate with Project/Construction Managers to develop site execution plans and allocate resources.
• Uphold Safety, Ethics and Financial Control as core absolutes on all activities.
• Manage projects to time, budget and contract scope.
• Monitor progress and mitigate delays or claims to bring programmes back on track.
