Job summary

PRS Recruitment is currently hiring for a Fabric Technician to join a high-performing maintenance team at a large blue-chip office site in Liverpool Street, City of London.

You will deliver planned and reactive fabric maintenance across the site, from minor repairs and decorating to supporting office moves, with a starting salary of £40,000 and a strong commitment to safety, training, and career progression.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Plastering, Bricklaying, Tiling, Painting & Decorating.
• Proven experience in commercial building maintenance.
• Solid understanding of general fabric-related duties (plumbing, electrical, carpentry).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.

Responsibilities

• General fabric maintenance (doors, locks, furniture repairs, blinds, etc).
• Painting, decorating, and minor carpentry.
• Replacing floor and ceiling tiles (carpet, ceramic, suspended).
• Assisting with office moves and layout changes.
• Supporting other engineers with maintenance duties as required.
• Ensuring all works are completed to a high standard while maintaining safety and compliance.
